Our relationship with Peter at Soulwood Creations ticks all of the boxes, he makes all of the absolutely stunning wooden spoons himself, by hand, about 7 miles up the road and with locally sourced wood, what more could we ask for?

 Each piece is completely individual, some are au naturel, some are baked for a darker look, some are flatter at the tip and some are more rounded, some are a beautiful cross section of heartwood and sapwood and others are finished with milk paint, but they're all beautiful examples of the ancient art of spoon carving.

All spoons are finished with a food safe Tung oil and whilst they are items of beauty, they're also practical items, so don't be afraid to get them stirring the pot! The oil will offer them some protection from staining but slight discolouration can be expected with use, and should be cherished! Give them an extra lick of oil every now and then to keep them from drying out too much.

 

We ship Tuesday to Saturday using Royal Mail Tracked 24.

All knives ship via an age verified service in accordance with The Offensive Weapons Act 2019, which will mean the postie will need you to be in to receive the delivery & to check your ID if you look under 25.

The law also requires us to carry out a soft age check of the purchaser after checkout, this is done by an automated system that usually doesn't require your input, although we will need to contact you for proof of age if you fail, which can sometimes happen if you use a work address.
